This project was a complete remodel of an existing detached house that was outdated and no longer suitable for modern family living. Adding a two storey rear extension created an open plan kitchen and family room connected to the garden, and created a new bedroom suite with ensuite and dressing room at first floor. To the front, a new porch with a feature brick and sandstone arch added curb appeal, alongside a landscaping scheme of a new footpath, driveway and front wall. The landscaping scheme of the rear garden creates a variety of functional outdoor spaces, from a large patio, outdoor fireplace, pergola, built in planters and veg beds.
